Finding Gold in a Pile of Poop

This wonderful nugget arrived in my inbox from and serves as a great reminder!

I encourage you, the next time you find yourself staring adversity in the eye, look for the good...for that gold.

Just like poop, even the worst experience serves a purpose.

Great Post Jane!

Show me a person who's never failed and I'll show you a person who's never done anything.

Keep up the great writing Jane.

Lorna, you are so welcome. Thank you for reading it and sharing. I truly appreciate all that you have to share.

Craig, thank you. :) When I was going through coach training at Coach U I heard the phrase, "failng forward". That has forever stuck with me. "Failing" is a big part of learning and growing. :)

Thank you again for your comment.

Be well...

I love this and I'm going to print it off and stick it to the wall above my desk. Any experience really can be transformed into something of value if looked upon with the proper perspective. Sometimes finding that perspective takes time though.

Some of the grandest things we could ever attempt come by way of a long, scary path. Those stepping stones to victory can result in lots of trips and falls along the way (ouch), but they do serve a purpose, as you say.

Thanks for sharing that quote, Pam.
